PSCA IS HELPING OUT DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC
On May 20, 2020, the PSCA Board voted to donation $10,000 to Philabundance to assist those who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, the Board wanted to assist those who have lost their jobs and need assistance putting food on the table for their families. On May 28, 2020, Christine Alexander went to Philabundance and present PSCA’s donation. Below is a picture of Chris and Scott Fremont, Director – Individual Giving for Philabundance. Of course they maintained social distancing and were wearing their masks.
In an email to Chris, Scott stated, “Chris – thank you again for coming in and for the generosity of the PSCA to all of us at Philabundance. Your donation will provide 20,000 meals to those in need in the Philadelphia area – those meals, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, are a lifeline to the many families that experience food insecurity each day. We rely on the support of our community to accomplish our mission of driving hunger out today, and ending hunger for good. Thank You again to all the members of the PSCA for their generosity, and putting your trust in our work.”
