Jeff Price is a Principal and managing partner with Manier & Herod in Nashville, Tennessee, practicing in the areas of fidelity law, surety law, directors and officers’ liability insurance, and commercial litigation. He represents fidelity insurers and directors and officers’ liability insurers on coverage issues, coverage litigation, and other matters arising from fidelity insurance policies, financial institution bonds, directors and officers’ liability policies, and other professional liability policies.
Mr. Price also represents sureties in distressed contractor transactions and workouts, intercreditor transactions, surety credit facilities, bankruptcies, performance bond defaults, payment bond claims, and every aspect of surety law. Additionally, he represents insurers under builders risk insurance policies and commercial general liability policies on coverage issues, coverage litigation, defense of insureds, and other matters.
Mr. Price received his B.A. (1995), magna cum laude, from Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. Mr. Price received his J.D. (1998), summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was a member of the Tennessee Law Review.
Jarrod W. Stone is a Principal and Department Head for Manier & Herod’s Surety and Fidelity Department, and he practices in the areas of surety litigation, construction litigation, fidelity litigation, insurance litigation, and general commercial litigation. He also represents sureties in distressed contractor transactions and workouts, intercreditor transactions, surety credit facilities, bankruptcies, performance bond defaults, payment bond claims, and every aspect of surety law. Mr. Stone is a frequent author and presenter on topics related to surety, fidelity, construction, and insurance law, and he recently co-chaired the Surety Program at the ABA Fidelity and Surety Law Committee’s 2016 Midwinter Meeting in New York. Mr. Stone is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Kentucky, but he has represented sureties in approximately 20 states.
Mr. Stone received his B.S. (2001), magna cum laude, from Middle Tennessee State University. Mr. Stone received his J.D. (2004), summa cum laude, Order of the Coif, and Order of Barristers from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he competed on the National Moot Court Team and the National Trial Team. In addition to twice winning the College of Law’s Advocates’ Prize Moot Court Competition, Mr. Stone also received the Susan B. Devitt National Moot Court Award and a Medal for Excellence in Advocacy from the American College of Trial Lawyers.
